Do u click "Refresh" on desktop often?? If so, this post is for you.

Doing a right-click on any empty space on desktop and hitting 'Refresh' (on any Windows OS) does not make your system faster or more responsive in any way. It does not refresh the cache or reload the RAM.

Wreck of the Titan or FUTILITY, A book written about Titanic before it sank

There was actually a book written about the sinking of the Titanic, 14 years before it actually sank.

Futility, or the Wreck of the Titan is an 1898 novella written by Morgan Robertson. He was an author with a passion for the sea. In a 1905 review of his work, THE NEW YORK TIMES referred to Mr. Robertson admiringly as the “Kipling of the Sea” .The story features the ocean liner Titan, which sinks in the North Atlantic after striking an iceberg. The Titan and its sinking have been noted to be very similar to the real-life passenger ship RMS Titanic, which sank fourteen years later. Following the wreck the novel was reissued with some changes, particularly in the ship's gross tonnage.
In 1912, the publisher hastily repackaged the book and retitled it “FUTILITY, OR THE WRECK OF THE TITAN.” In the wake of the real-life tragedy, the book was a sudden hit, and the biggest success of Mr. Robertson’s career. Mr. Robertson died just a few years later on March 24, 1915.

What if, there was no Google.....

Can you imagine what the world would be like if Google didn't exist? Or even better, the correct question should be where the world would be if Google was not there.

It's hard to say exactly how the world would look without Google, which is the world's most frequently visited Web site.. May be everyone would go back to libraries and encyclopedias to get the required information , they would remember the routes or find out the address asking people who comes on the way..

Interesting things in 90s

In those days,
Apple , Blackberry just meant fruits to us. :P

Kids nowadays get confused in choosing among I phone and BlackBerry...
When we were kids we used to get confused in choosing among boomer and Big babool ;)

Conversation meant two people sit down and talk about random stuff, face to face. They used to  " talk " with their friends.. but today , they "chat/message/ping". To be more clear, It used to be Life without cell phones, notifications and LIKES on facebook. Those generation kids had a real life and today's kids got a life and that too for candy crush saga...!!!

We miss the time when games like cricket or football were played in the field and not on the computer / mobile( candy crush, temple rush etc) and last but the least......Peace Of Mind.... which we surely miss these days..!!!

There are many things from 90's that I miss......
Start...Stop :P

Origin of SMS language :P and basic abbreviations

Want to know the origin of SMS language? :p
Fine, let us consider the below two statements...
1. 140 characters limit
2. 140 crctrs lmt
Option 2 gives same information as opt1.. But,
in 20% less characters and
in 12 clicks (on T9 keypad) which is lesser than Option 1
with zero concern about spellings and
just a little idea of English phonetics would help you understand the message.
